  • Does Shepard Health test children and infants?
    Yes! Shepard Health will test your children and infants regardless of age. Our staff is trained and ready to handle your children. Our COVID-19 testing methods are less invasive than other testing facilities.
  • Where are you located?
    Shepard Health is located in the Northridge Commons Shopping mall and we are across the street from the Coca-Cola bottling plant. Our facility is in building 3, suite number 338. Our address is 8601 Dunwoody Place, Building 3, Suite #338, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30350. If you are having any difficulties locating our facility, our staff is more than willing to help guide you.   • Does Shepard Health take insurance?
    Yes! Shepard Health accepts most insurance plans for our COVID-19 PCR testing. If you do not have insurance our testing costs $100.
  • What do I need to get COVID-19 PCR tested at Shepard Health?
    To get tested at Shepard Health, we require that all patients register online in our patient portal. Once registered, patients can come to our facility at any time Monday thru Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday from 9am-12pm. Once you arrive at our facility please have your reference number and a either a paper or physical copy of your insurance card availble to give to our staff. Once we collect all your information we will swab you and your results we be available later that same day.
  • What do I need to get COVID-19 Rapid Antigen tested at Shepard Health?
    To get Rapid Antigen tested at Shepard Health, we do not require any registration or sign up. To be tested come any time between 9am-5pm Monday thru Friday or 9am-12pm on Satruday. Once here we will collect some basic information and then swab you for the test. The total testing time is about 20 minutes. Once testing is complete we will give you a paper copy of your test report. It can also be emailed to you via request.
  • When will I get my results back?
    If you took a COVID-19 PCR test at Shepard Health, your results will be back to you same day! If you took a rapid/antigen test, your results will be available 20 minutes from the time you swabbed. Those results can be viewed here.
  • Our billing policy
    When using our services here at Shepard Health, we will never balance bill patients. So if you recieve a letter in the mail stating you may owe the lab, do not be alarmed. We will never come asking you to balance what was not covered by your insurance provider. If you have any questions or concerns about our billing policy, please contact the lab directly.
  • What do I do if I test postive?
    If you test positive for COVID-19 please follow the CDC guidelines. COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation | CDC If you have any questions not addressed by the CDC's website, please contact your primary care provider.
  • How do I access my reports/results?
    To view your results, please access our patient portal. Patients Portal You will need the cell phone number or email ID used when originally ordering your test to access your results. If having issues with the patient portal or are unable to view your results, please contact the lab directly (770) 558-3393
