Urinary Analysis

Shepard Health's urinalysis testing method provides semi-quantitative results. Our testing provides clinicians with valuable and accurate data so that they can better provide for their patients.

Our testing provides quantitative data for:

​

  • Specific Gravity

  • WBC Esterase

  • Proteins 

  • Ketones

  • Hematuria

  • Bilirubin

  • Urobilinogen

  • Nitrates 

  • PH

​

After processing urine chemistry, Shepard Health will then view samples through advanced microscopy to validate any abnormalities seen in the acquired data.

If there are any issues found in the microscopy, we can then reflux the samples for urinary pathogen analysis. More information about our urine testing can be found here.
